I have the pleasure of introducing two of the country’s great form students to the Helter-Skelter.com.au website.
Peter Ellis has been studying & constantly assessing thoroughbred form across the globe for over 40 years. Peter’s knowledge of overseas runners and conditions and nature of tracks is second to none! Peter has survived investing on the results of his long hours studying for all these years.
Peter has been broadcasting his information across the Radio TAB network with Steven Hewlett for over a decade.
‘Gibbo’ who created www.brissyraces.com.au about 18 months ago has been very active as a father juggling family, his work commitments and targeting the success technology offers to create a huge following via brissyraces on-line (recently the site had over 44,000 hits) twitter & his regular chat on Radio TAB each Thursday with Steven Hewlett.
Peter & Gibbo are going to join me on a regular basis to share their thoughts and opinions on tracking future winners, hope your enjoy their first contributions below…

We love Ben Perkins colourful nature (& he’s still hoping for the upsets of all upsets with Romney to become President next week) Sorry Ben, last thing you needed was a natural disaster in the middle of an election! Obama’s a cert now! Benny likes 3 races to bet in at Eagle farm & ofcourse he has a pick in the Victoria Derby. thanks again ben for your imput.
The purists day of racing, Derby Day at Flemington. Truly a genuine day of great thoroughbred horse racing, including the 3 year old classic the Victoria Derby. Will the favourite hit back and take out this years race on the bigger & more spacious track or will another staying type come to the fore? Peter Ellis has seen many Derby’s the world over & here he takes a look at the chances, plus his look at races 7,8 & 9 Plus a best in the lead up to the Oaks, the Wakeful & a good thing in The Coolmore. good luck for Derby Day
